Toscane

Toscane is beroemd om zijn landschappelijke en culturele schoonheid. Het kan zich beroemen op steden als Florence en Siena, een heuvellandschap met villa’s en cipressen, en op rode wijnen van sangiovese van het kaliber Chianti Classico, Vino Nobile di Montepulciano en Brunello di Montalcino. Toscane is een van de toonaangevende wijngebieden binnen Italië, qua prestige vergelijkbaar met Piemonte. Onder de noemer Toscana vallen wijnen van diverse kwaliteitsniveaus, die om uiteenlopende redenen niet onder een DOC(G) vallen. Ze variëren van eenvoudig tot heel prestigieus.

Herkomst Italië - Toscane

Fraaie en kenmerkende, lichtrood gekleurde Brunello met geuren van vers rood fruit en tonen van de eikenhoutrijping. De smaak zet vol en fris in met rijpe tannine. De finale is minutenlang en aromatisch sterk. Mooi bij gerechten met paddenstoelen en truffel maar ook bij gegrilde vleesgerechten.
